I agree whole heartedly with the above positive comments.  Excellent show.

Only downside was some of the vendors were packed up or packing shortly after lunch.  Oh well, at least I went home with still some cash in my pockets.

Just got back from the show.  We had a great time as usual.  The level of craftmanship was OUT OF SIGHT.  Two of our guys were judges and they said that it was very hard to single out the winners.  After I got time to go around and really look at the entries, I was ready to go around and pick up my entries and pack them in.  Needless to say I didn't win anything but one of the raffle tickets for a double win.  A Tamiya 1/35 M5A1 Light Tank and a set of Tamiya 1/35 Military Figures.

Our awards for the show was 1 with 2 wins, 1 with 6 or 7, 1 with 6 + Judges choice and special award from a manufacturer of a 1/32 P-51 with all kinds of goodies added.

Enjoyed meeting Tojo.  Didn't get a chance to have the call put out for members to meet. Too much to look at and too many people to talk to. Don't know how many pics I took yet.  I'll check them out tomorrow and see if I can post them.

This old guy has been up since 6:15 and on his feet all day(except for the ride to and from the show) and his eyes are slamming shut. Time to hit the sheets.

Sandbox, look us up when you get there.  We'll be there till after the awards are given out.  We'll be at the counter where they call out the raffle tickets every hour.  We always buy lots of tickets.  One year, between the stuff we won, the stuff we bought, and the ones we originally brought to show, we almost didn't have enough room in the car to get it all in.  We had to carry some of them on our laps all the way home.Big Smile It was worth it though.

Can't make it this, second year in a row that I have to miss.  It is a good show, definitely worth getting to, for both the exhibition and the vendor area.

We're all set and ready to go. Meeting up at 7:30, stopping at Wawa to pick up breakfast and on to the turnpike.  We should be there 9:30 to 10:00.  There are 9 of us coming up in 3 vehicles.  One of them is a brand new Mustang.  I'm hoping to get a ride in that one.

Hope to meet up with you.  5 out of 6 of my entries are single engine aircraft so I'll be at category 1, 3, 5 &6 for a while when I get there. The other is a 1/35 Jeep. I'll keep my eyes open for you.  I've got a Commemorative Air Force tan cap that I'll be wearing.

Hi Guys and Gals!!!  It's that time of the year again. MosquitoCon is Saturday the 2nd of April in Wayne, N.J. and that is this coming Saturday. Our club is getting ready to go.  It takes us 1-1/2 to 2 hours to get there but we wouldn't miss it. It's always a great show with lots of vendors.

I'll try to remember to get them to make an announcement for FSM members to meet up by where they call the raffle ticket winners so we can get a few pics.  I planned to do it last year but got caught up in talking shop with new friends and it slipped my mind (happens a lot to old farts my age Wink). Hope to see some of you there.  It would be great to meet in person with members that I've only talked to on the Forum. Try to make it, you won't regret it.
