Just flipped through this month's edition,  and the DC-3 article was really interesting as last month's "Air Forces Monthly" had an article on Colombian DC-3 gunships that had those engine upgrades, which should make building one that much easier.

Shout out to Karl for his Chevy s10 article. I have a black 2000 LS that just turned 200k; those are just handy little trucks. We'll done, sir!

I agree. That S-10 was pretty impressive. I love seeing nicely modeled 'daily driver' vehicles.

Seemed to take longer to get mine too. Normally I get my copy a few days after they post the new editon to the top of the forum. This time it took a few weeks.

Still, great issue. The giant scratchbuild Trek Enterprise is worth the cost of the issue alone. And yeap, nice how-to on weathering a civilian pick-up there by Karl too.

You guys are lucky.  Being here in Alaska, I probably won't see it till the 12th, I bet.  FSM, why is that?

Fantastic article by Karl, I love the subject of his old truck and bike. We're fortunate to have builders amoung us that are so skilled with a creative touch. I hope we get more articles from some of the best builders here at FSM.

I havent received mine yet either. I also usually get mine shortly after the preview shot on the top of the website. I was up for renewal of my subscription, but I made sure that the payment went through, hopefully I get it soon.

I thought the entire issue was very good.

Must admit, the S10 really caught my eye and I had missed yet again that it is Karl's until I read this thread. Nicely done, again, Karl.

Don't know about anyone else but I surely liked the quick article on painting a 1/72nd pilot. Mr Hudson makes it looks so easy.

PS my issue was a bit slow arriving this month as well.

Got mine. I likes those beater builds. Especially if it's in a SBS article Yes

A massive article on the TV Enterprise model build too!

Got mine yesterday too. Same mail contained Squadron flyer and Micro Mark flyer.  I've got a lot of reading to do now.  The FSM has a lot of good stuff.

Another nod to Karl, and some great stuff as usual. But I was particularly sympathetic to " Overboard on the tiny parts ?" in Scale Talk.
