Step-by-step Video Builds on YouTube
Posted by MonsterZero on Wednesday, April 13, 2016 7:20 AM

I think this is a fantastic way to pick up ideas from other people by watching them build in real time.

Does anybody know good authors who speak English or Polish that I could subscribe to?

I started watching Plasmo's video builds; I think his models are great, but I think he's Czech or something so movies are silent and sometimes I'm not sure what he is doing. I would like a narration if possible.

If you can send me some YouTube links to reputable builders doing similar projects I will subscribe to them.

Say MZ, try the link below that will lead you to some Genessis-Models videos. You may have to do some searching from this point but he has a lot out there. He does step by step, techniques, and model reviews. He does a nice job of teaching. You may not find a complete build of his that is free, but there is a lot of useful stuff if you look. For complete builds, his site is subscription based. He speaks English.

I subscribe to Genessis Models' YouTube channel as well, and can recommend it.

A couple more I subscribe to are Scale Model Addict (Scott Girvan's channel; he maintains the Scale Model Addict forum as well, of which I'm also a member), BadGrendels (who is also a member at Scale Model Addict) and Guido Hopp.

I have seen all of the listings that the Baron has mentioned and all of them have great insight and techniques that will help. Great vids to watch.
