Whatever works for you and there's really no wrong or right way in doing so. Everybody has their own way of completing a kit.

Hello

Is this a good way to paint my Tank models? What do you guys think? (I use acrylic for this and add retarder to my paint). Trust me, I have watched hundreds of videos and read quite a few articles and picked the best tips for me, I know a lot of methods.

Prime with Tamiya Spray Grey Primer

Shadow Coat (Airbrush) with Tamiya Nato Black

Paint the main colour

Paint the tracks lightly with an airbrushed coat of a rust colour, then brush lightly with a silver on the side of the tracks

By using a sponge, dip into paint and remove excess.  Place on edges where chipping would occur (with tweezers).

Using a toothpick, dip into enamel black and dot. As soon as this is done, dip a brush into enamel thinner and remove excess. Brush down for streaks.

Use panel accent line colour on panel lines.

Use Tamiya weathering sets where required (mud, sand, soot etc)

Use a pencil on edges for bare metal

Airbrush XF-57 Buff far away for dust effects

Finally, seal all down with Flat Clear coat from Tamiya

Anything that could be added for subtle and realistic weathering?

Thank you

Tamiya please produce these models: TOG II*, Bob Semple Tank, Renault FT-17, Black Prince, 1/350 HMS Vanguard and more British stuff! If anyone works Tamiya or can pass this on, please do so!
