Thank you! This is finished in Lacquer - not acrylic. I wet-sanded this with 1500 grit, then polished with Meguiars' No.7 showcar glaze. This took me about four hours. The trim is Bare Metal Foil which is why it looks like someone painted it with aluminum paint from a jar. This is why it's been sitting since 2003. I've been waiting until technology could catch up with us. I got some Alclad II last year and I've been waiting to use it. I have a small area where the finish cracked and I fixed it, but it needs to be wet-sanded again since the paint settled into that spot. It's not that bad, but as soon as I get the trim painted I'll finish putting the interior in, and everything else with it.
