Hobby Shops in Nashville Tennessee?
Posted by Zank_Frappa on Thursday, November 3, 2016 10:12 PM

So, over my thanksgiving break I'm going to visit my grandmother in Tennesse, and was wondering if there were any local hobby shops that you all go to? My local shop here in St. Louis, CRM Hobbies, just closed a couple of months ago and I've been looking for somewhere I can buy loads of kits I'll never build ;)

From google, there's Hudson Classic Hobbies and a Hobbytown. I can't comment on how good they are. Shame you're not there this weekend, there's a show in Murfreesboro just outside of Nashville.

Chris said they auctioned it off to an undiclosed vendor, but that they were working on starting up an ebay shop under the same name.

Stopped in Hudsons a month or two ago while my wife was at a conference at the Gaylord.   It is a small hole in the wall shop behind a tire store.    There were  three rows of shelves, two  had plastic.  Nothing which called my name and I had to make room for in the luggage.   Also some paint,  model railroad and games.   The owner & two buddies were playing one when I came in.    The owner was pleasant explaining what they had on sale.

I had more fun driving down to and touring the Shiloh battlefield,  two to two and a half hours away
