I recently sent my 2000 Explorer over the river after 300,000 miles. I really miss having a tank to lug stuff around in. Yes, my current ride is a BMW V8, older classic.

Oh come on, I've owned at least five BMW's. It's not the car, it's the driver. And it's a really good car.

BMW owners used to be like any other sports car enthusiast. My current car is a 1995 540I, 100,000 miles, 4 liter V8 that goes about 250 hp. It's a beauty, 20mm roll bars, 260 tires.

I'm not rich and it's not a rich guy car.

I'm just glad that you came out of this ok!

    Don't fret " G " . I have owned three . You're right it's not the car It's the driver .In this case though I have to chalk it up to  , just really what it was .For three of us , an unfortunate accident .

 We have an old turn of the century hotel in town . The semi-circular drive lets out to the most heavily traveled street in town  .Parking is allowed up to the drives on both the north and south sides , And in the three spaces in between .

 He actually did not see me because the vehicle he was trying to look around was a G.M.C. Yukon . He remained on scene and did everything he could do to help till the ambulance arrived . 

  The bumps and bruises suffered by yours truly are very self evident this morning . The tow driver told my Landlady the car was totaled .They had to drag it out to put it on the truck and the front wheels were locked in gear . Front Wheel drive .

    Yeah , " G " I wish it had been what I call a  "bugbus " . Nope, it was , I thought , the last new car I would buy . Oh well , 2003- Kia Sedona EX - 0 , fate -1. I sold the VW Kombi some years back to a VW collector who has taken good care of it . Oh Well . Now I have to find something as good as the KIA was . Fiddlesticks ! !

I'm also glad that you'll be ok soon TB. I hope you weren't transporting any models at the time.

Now that my hurricane repairs finally are done, I'll get back into modeling after my index finger heals. I lost  the end of it between the fly wheel and bendix starter gears on my outboard motor where there was no extra room for my finger . The bandage is as big as a 144 scale airplane which makes it hard to detail a model. I will miss that finger nail for picking up tiny parts and PE and stuff though.

Sorry to hear this TB. Glad that the injuries were not serious. 

Don't forget to add all the Mental Anguish that you're suffering to the bill.
