Posted by Tanker - Builder on Friday, November 18, 2016 9:08 AM

Hi Ya'll !

Well , the bumps and bruises are still making an appearance , just like the doctor said ! I got to see the auto leftovers . Shorn brake line, Broken upper control arm ( right side) .Broken wheel and tire and both doors  , both sides ! Engine mounts right side , broken and dash partly bent on the passenger side . Surprisingly - No broken Glass . Front fenders and sliding doors and front doors TOAST !

   Final disposition TOTALLED !

Now , Me ; Bruises and bumps in any area concerning the shape of the left door armrest . Sprung thumb left .Damaged but not broken right hand . Bruised knees and left ankle . Bell rung lightly . No severe bruising there .Was wearing my seatbelt .( I keep it regulation tight too . ) And my spine cushion protected my backbone .

Sense of humor ? Undamaged . So as a former marble in a wash machine ( that's what it felt like ) I thank all of you for your concern and caring . You have kept my spirits up AND kept my temper down . Thank you all ! ! Tanker - Builder       P.S. Between you and I , I don't think either the car or I have an undamage panel . One tailight wound up on the driver side floor . I don't think it's mine though .

Glad you're relatively ok.  Had a few over the years.  I totalled my last car when a dumb*** reached on the floor for her cigarette lighter & came right over into my lane.

Nice to know you've come through it relatively intact.

I feel your pain and understand the damage it caused physically, mentally, and spiritually.  As for your Geo, it sounds like it definately took care of you and protected you during your ordeal.

When I was seventeen, I owned a 1966 Mustang with a inline six and a three speed.  My first car for $500.00.  A drunk driver hit me from behind really bad but the Mustang took the brunt of the force and protected my passenger as well as myself.  Yes, it was very bad.  The mustang was completely totaled!

I'm very lucky to be here.  As for you, although you had some issues physically from the accident, I'm just totally and sincerely glad that you're here today.
