What to build?
Posted by Mark76 on Thursday, December 15, 2016 12:30 AM

As always, as modellers, there is that painful decision of what to put on the bench next. I swing between great ambition (doing something epic) and small faster builds every time.

I have three choices from my stack (which continues to grow).

1. A 1/32 Academy F-16 Falcon which would be a long build, but would look fantastic.

2. A 1/35 Academy King Tiger OR

3. A 1/72 B-17 "Pacific" Bomber.

The camo paint job on the Tiger would be a challenge, if that's what you're looking for.

You can use scotch blue painter's tape and cut the pattern with a hobby knife to create a mask and you can make very complex camoflage.
