Bronto

Cockpit was bronze green (not interior green).   Gear / accessory bay was Grumman Grey.

This is the correct answer although depending on the variant, I believe the wheel well may have been aluminum (paint, not bare metal).

I love the F4F-4 Wildcat.  I've built 2 of the Tamiya 1/48's.  I just for the Trumpeter 1/32 kit for Christmas (Thanks to my  Girlfriends Mom).  I'm looking forwars to oing a ton of research to get the most accurate one possible.  I too would also like to know this.

Duct tape is like the force.  It has a dark side & light side and it holds the universe together.

As of now, I'm currently bulding Airfix's 1/72 F4F-4 Wildcat, and as I look around the web for photos/read articles, i'm still not sure as to what colors were used on the Interior - some say Bronze Green, Interior Green, others say the wheel wells were painted Interior Green, and even more people say Grumman Grey. Could anyone help?
