Posted by blackburge on Monday, January 2, 2017 11:22 AM

I want to have your suggestion. I have 10 finished model to display and I have a trumpeter display case that work very nice with dustproof but it's very expensive to buy one for each model to display .... What are you doing to display your stuff without dust ?? Thanks

Ikea has some nice display cases in their catalogue, you can check out ebay,Craigslist, and ads for store display fixtures,or maybe stores going out of business. You can contract someone  to build to your specs.Check antique stores for cabinets.

It all depends on how much space you have and how much you want to spend.

This subject has been dicussed, use the search feature,I remember many guys posting pics of their display setups and suggestions.

Boy other than building something yourself that's a tough one.

I would guess most modelers have this issue along with display space.

I converted a older gun cabinet by taking the gun racks out and putting in glass shelves.

Good places to try are Goodwill and Consignment stores.

I haunted our local Habitat for Humanity ReStore until I found a cabinet with a light in the top that took glass shelves. The panes in the sides were broken, so I cut out some thin plywood and fit them in. Had to have the glass shelves made, but altogether it probably costs less than $200.

I got lucky when a shop was going out of business and was able to buy one of their big lighted display cabinets for $200. Dust still gets in somehow.
