So, finished the other day.  I have to say, I'm completely amazed at the engineering of these parts and how well they fit together and how they managed to design it.  4 total Phases and I took some pics in the beginning and mostly the ending...  I had a few parts left over after each Phase, but everything, as far as I could tell, works.  They say its not uncommon to have a few pieces left over.  Guess they havent mastered the piece count exactness yetBig Smile, I hope....

Tanker - Builder

Okay !

I got the picture . I have to let you know as an Registered ,  Official AFOL ( Adult Fan of LEGO ) and a member of the San Antonio LUG ( LEGO users Group ) that you have your hands full . I got the 4x4 Technic Pick-up Truck this year .

You will be gritting your teeth and pulling your hair if you don't correctly interpret every diagram of every page of your builders book .THAT is one of the harder Technic Kits , Mine lists third in difficulty !

Now , when done , you will look at it and wonder how they came up with it .The LEGO proffessional Builders in the main plant have trays full of parts and they get paid for coming up with EVERY ! LEGO set that comes out !

     Good Luck and Enjoy ! ! T.B.

that scares me - really. I have just glanced at the instruction book - yes book. Some of the pictures are a little cryptic. Anyhow, I do plan on looking ahead before jumping in. I can picture getting pages into it am getting a big oops...  tks for the tip!!

Keep on modeling!

All the best,

William

Those Technic lego stuff are neat! I've always wanted to get one for my son for Christmas but he didn't have an interest in it. Star Wars Lego is what he wanted. LOL!!
