1:35th scale Army Black Hawk customizing.

Hey All,

OK, been out of modeling for about 20 years and diving back in.  My son is in Basic Training (PA National Guard).  He is going to A School in Feburary for Helichopter Powerplant Machanic.  Then he will be putting in his packet for Warrent Officer school then hopefully Warrant Officer Flight School...

He will be working mostly on (and probably flying) Black Hawks.  His birthday is in April so I was thinking of making a nice 1:35th scale Black Hawk Diaorama.

The tricky part is I would like to put a small motor in it for the main rotar (I would love to spin both but...) and I would like to back light the cockpit and even put nav lights into it if possible.

So my questions are:

  1. Does any one sell packaged kits for the rotors?
  2. Does any one sell packaged kits for the nav lights?
  3. If no to either is there someplace I can get the drawings/schematics to do this?
  4. Lastly...how much room do I have to work inside the model for the components?

If worst comes to worst I can always hide the electronics in the base of the diaorama and have a repelling line or battery truck hooked up to the model then use the wire as a hose or rope.

I'd love to hear your suggestions!

Thanks in advance!!!

Shnake
