As you can tell by the title, Lightnings I just wanted to share my last build and a build a few months ago.
I thought the two P-38's look really cool together. Thank's for looking.

The P-38 is an interesting bird.
There was a sort of love it hate it with pilots. Because it was a multi-engine, the rebel pilots got it as a form of punishment.
One of my favorite fighter pilots was Robin Olds. He flew the Lightning in WW2.

Every March, the USAF honors Gen. Olds by proclaiming the month of March as 'moustache month' and have competitions at every wing to see who can grow the best moustache, a salute to Gen Olds and his 'rebel' moustache.
mawright20Nice to see pair with early and late war markings. When Gen. Olds died and was buried at the US Air Force Academy, there was a large flyby of F-4 Phatoms to honor him.
