Here's the basics of photoetching.

I've never worked with photoetch myself, so I'll leave the hints to others.

How does Eduards do that?
Posted by Copterguy on Wednesday, March 24, 2004 6:06 PM
Just got Eduards colour PE set for Hasegawa's 1/48 Apache Longbow. How do they make such intricate little parts? How do they get the colour onto them? Just curious. I'm really looking forward to tackling this kit but with all of the PE it looks a little challenging.

Any advice for dealing with PE parts? Any issues particular to the colour parts?

Thanks.
