My two years at FSM forum
Posted by Toshi on Sunday, April 30, 2017 7:29 PM

To my fellow forum members,

I want to thank you all for the support in my builds that you've given me.  This greatly motivates me as well as giving me a sense of well being.  This has helped my TBI greatly!

As of this thread, I've been not only a member of this forum for two years but also, building kits for that amount of time.  I am so forever greatfull for your valuable time and effort in the read and replies you've so graciously given me.  As of this time, three of my builds, due to your help has been in the digital galleries.  My Monogram 1/48 visible B-17G with a complete interior PE set, Tamiya 1/32 F4U Corsair and a Monogram 1/48 F4U Corsair, and most recently, one of my favorites, a Zoukei Mura 1/48 Shinden.

I also wanted to let everyone know that my subscription to FSM expired this month, so I called in and got a digital subscription.  Let me just say that I enjoyed the actual paper magazine of FSM, but now I'm estatic about my digital subscription.  It is just awesome.

Once again, thank you all for being my second family here and supporting me for my two years as a member of FSM Forums!

Toshi, you've been a mainstay of my morning reading every day. When I don't see a post by Toshi I worry if you are alright like a personal friend would. let me just say that I'm glad you're here and to be considered a modeling friend of yours.

I can only echo everyone else Toshi......I can't believe that your attention to detail and your skills have improved so much in just two years.  You deserve any allocades you receive.  You have gone from just a modeling friend to more of a mentor for my builds.

May your skills continue to grow along with improvement to your health.

Toshi, this is all true. You are a very important part of the Forum and when you weren't we all worried about you. You have demonstrated not only skill of building but a positive social aspect that we all admire and others should take note of. I enjoy your work and enthusiasm. What more can I say my friend? Always watching and be well!

Hearty congratulations, Toshi, your two years with us has been a really important contribution to the forums. You have become a very skilled modeler in that short time, and I see great imrovement in your writing abilities.

It can't be easy to fight back from a TBI, but you are kicking it right square in the @ss. With your resolve being so strong, I have no doubt you will continue to recover well. Not many people could take on the complication of some of your builds, at your modeling experience level. I'm not sure I'd want to tackle the Skeeter.

Thanks for sticking with us Toshi, very glad you're here.

Thank you so much for your very kind heart felt words.  My improvement comes from great teachers like you and FSM Forum members.  It was by the urgency of my therapist that I join and write these threads as such, hence my improvement in my writing.

From 2010 to 2015, I could not even read a simple children's book.  It took me some time to re-learn reading.  Strangely, writing came much more quickly for me.

My fight against TBI has been a nightmare at times but I willed myself to build kits as I was having so much fun.  With this knowledge from you all, my healing time doubled.

I want to thank you for helping me, I am forever indebted to you all.

I feel that FSM Forum and it's members brighten my day in each and every way.  I'm most honored and humbled in that when I don't post my WIP, that members like you become disappointed.

I love FSM Forums and you members are my second family.  I am forever indebted to you for your guidance and inspiration, especially your scratch building techniques in which I still have no concept of.  Your support in my projects are of great value to me.  Thank you for everything!
