If you fix it in the title you will get more hits.

Floquil makes a color called reefer orange that is very close.

I built this kit and have another in my stash.  It's an easy build, low parts count.  Unless you plan to display the engine outside the aircraft, don't go crazy on detailing.  Once it's in the fuselage all you see it the exhaust.

If you want to show cockpit detail, build it with the door open.  Not much is visible through the canopy.  Have fun, as I recall no major issues.

Testors has International Orange - Model Master 2022 (enamel) or Model Master 4682 (acrylic). There's no mix ratio.

Hi all, I just ordered a revell 1/32 bell X-1 kit, which I'm look forward to building. Although its moulded in orange, I believe the correct orange is  International Orange. Anyone know for sure? If I'm correct does anyone have a mix ratio? Thanks for any feedback.       I'm an aircraft builder, but just bought a Trumpeter 1/144 USS GATO sub, should be a fun build. Anyone built one?  Thanks to everyone, keep on modeling
