Modelpalooza

I've got pics of the show but getting them from the camera into the computer then on to FSM is going to be a challenge without Photobook. Also I start a side job today and haven't much time to figure all this out .

The show was very good and lots of goodies at the vendor tables. Some fantastic looking models on display there.  I managed to get some EXCELLENT buys including a mint in the box 1/48 Hasegawa FGR.2 for $17!

Also managed to win a couple of medals on my entries as well. Jay Jay also earned some trophies too.

I'll throw my retired Air Force hat on to make it easy.  Sounds like the hats will give us away this year.  LOL!

Going to get there as soon as I can tomorrow.  Hoping to be there no later then 8 when they open....unless fotofrank sneaks me in early!   ;)

I won't be hard to find.  I'll be handling the club's table with my wife, and either wearing a hat from the Shogun chapter of I.P.M.S. or my vietnam vet hat.

Oh the group photo sounds so cool. I can hang it on my fridge and see who I'm conversing with on the site.

This is awesome!  I'll be walking around (buying a stupid amount of models I probably don't need), so I'll try to say hi to everyone and see if we can do a big lunch thing.  Maybe a group photo and we can post afterwards!

Technically I am scheduled from 10 to noon but I dont want to promise I can make it for lunch if they need me a bit longer.  If I can get away at noon I am in for lunch.  There are a handful of resturants that share the same parking lot as the hotel and are walking distance.  See you guys there. 

Just booked our room for Modelpalooza today. Since the hotel is pet friendly, we'll (me and my wife, Gail) and I will be bringing our guard Chihuahua, Sassy. Sassy will be on the door with me making sure y'all aren't messing around when you're coming into the venue.

Sounds like we have us a party starting here!  Can't wait to meet and put faces to avatars.  LOL.  We should have a set time for all the FSM forum people to meet somewhere and say hi.

I go every year and have several entries for this show. I'm also preregistered and find it an easier and faster process.

The pre registration is to make things smoother but I believe one can register at the show too.

If you have a vendor table, I'll see you then.  LOL!  I always buy more models I don't need.  LOL!

I will be there for sure.  Couple of other forums folks will be there too.  Don't know about the registration.  I don't enter the contests...just go and enjoy the builds...and buying!  LOL!
