My goodness! I'd hate to have to move those shelves! That's a lot of LONG glass - easy to break. But, man alive, that's a GREAT collection you got going there, Tempestjohnny!

funny you should say that. I'm in the beginning stages of moving e from Connecticut to Florida. So I'll have to figure out something

Plenty of room. But the dust is bad. I'm hoping to be moving in about a year so when I get to the new house I'm going to enclose it

Ditto

Great Builds, and I dig those glass shelves.  It looks like they give you plenty of room to grow.

Oh no, that's not 9 months.  I think one or two of those date back to 2003 (Built in Barracks).

Maybe I just picked a bad title for the thread.  Maybe it should ask, "What does your collection look like in 2017?"  I'm trying to see people's model displays.

Those cases are from Ikea.  I forget what they're called, but they're pretty easy to find.  They're not too expensive, about $70.  Some people get extra glass shelves made and hold them up with clamps or welded supports.  That way they can get more models in the space.

So, How are your model displays looking in 2017?

Sorry, Chris. That's what I get for assuming things!

Thanks for letting me know about IKEA carrying those shelves. We have one near us in Charlotte, so I just might have to get over there soon and see what I can find.

Great-looking builds, by the way.

Great collection, Marine! That's in 9 months?? Wow!! It takes me that long to complete ONE kit!!

Love those display cases. Where did you find them? I might hafta gits me some o dem.

Didn't realize that Fender has a head stock that doesn't look like a normal Fender. I almost thought you had a Martin sitting there, till I zoomed in a little and saw the Fender name. Nice!!
