Hi, Bill! Have you tired Squadron? They have vacuum-formed canopies for just about any aircraft that ever existed.

Hello!

Didn't we have a gentleman here, that checked that all 1/48 Revell Catalina canopies are short-shot? If so writing Revell will unfortunately not do much good...

Good luck with finding that canopy and have a nice day

Yeah, I remember that. The guy was making an overly big deal about that, too, complaining about how much money he had paid for such bad workmanship.

Hi Guys.

Yes My recent 1/48th Revell Germany kit # 04507 PBY had a canopy mold injection defect that could not be fixed.  I wrote to them and they sent me another damaged canopy 5 weeks later.

If another consumer is having this defect problem,  (The back corner is like cellophane tape thin with lines through it) then this must be a problem for the whole run, or a large portion of the run.

And making an "Overly big deal"  expecting quality control  on a $100. retail kit when I've run a succesful business for 35 years is in reality the right thing to do.  The kit was unbuildable as presented OOB and now another consumer is validating a bad production run.

To boot they sent another damaged canopy which indicates zero QC.
