I was going to start a new thread but this thread seems like a good way to post this question. I know it's been gone over before. How do you post images from Flickr to this site? I have been using Use.com but it looks a little archaic. I have a Flickr account. Can someone tell me exactly what I have to do cuz I cannot figure it out. Thanks!
Griffin
After Photobucket turned into an X- wife demanding custody of all you're comic books,I switched to postimage.org.
No problems, but you can't post video. There are a few ad's ( nothing like Photobucket) And most of the ad's are aimed at men...... so be carful where you click......you may have some "esplanen" to do if the wife creeps up behind you.
Super easy to use and I give it 9/10 star's.
Dont worry about the thumbprint, paint it Rust , and call it "Battle Damage"
In the immediate aftermath of PBgate, I saw probably a dozen or more solutions being tossed around, ranging from fairly technical to alternate photo hosting site.
Thank you, this gets my options into something more managable with only 3 or 4 to sort through.
I am liking what I see so far with postimage as it seems to be a no frills program targeted specifically at hosting photos for forums and that is really all I want a hosting service for.
After the PB fiasco, I started to use my Flickr account more but I never liked it much, it just seemed too much like Facebook and I didn't like the multiple processes it took to set up and manage personal folders and try to link with Google Drive. I settled on Imageshack with a 5yr plan that was around $25. I like it for its been pretty strait forward in managing my folders and plays really nice with Google Drive.
Expire? Does Flickr have this option too? It might be me, but why would you want your shots to expire?
I haven't pulled out of photobucket yet because of a lot of things going on, I'm also not going to pay them either, so I need to find another place to go.
I use Postimage because I like the fact my photos don’t expire unless you choose it to before posting.
the same as don , postimage is way quicker than photobucket , and way easier too .
I tried postimage, and liked it, so now that is what I have used. Free, faster than photobucket, and the linked images can be seen by everyone, so far. I tried a couple others before I did postimage, and for those, only about half of the responders could see my images.

I switched to Fotki and like it.
Costs about $ 20 a year. Easy to use, fast, no ads whatsoever.
Modeling is an excuse to buy books.
Bish Switched to Flickr before the PB episode, free and i have had no issues with it. Works better than PB ever did.

I used Photobucket for well over a decade until they pulled their little stunt.
I know there were threads discussing this at the time, but now that there has been some time for people to experiment, I'm curious to know which alternatives are working out for people.
While free is always nice I don't mind a reasonable annual fee for a service that works well.
I guess one benefit to not getting anything built for the past 12-18 months is I've had no real need to find a new photo hosting service. I'm hoping to change that in the coming year.
