jgeratic Probably not Tamiya's intention to make it look like a toy, but a selling gimmick? For me, the interchangeable engine covers are not important, particulalrly as it just adds to the cost. regards, Jack

Agreed, if i want an open engine, i'll buy a resin one. I just hope this doesn't become the mainstream.

Bish Phil_H Looks interesting. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BBAS3RKmMYE I don't know, i don't see the point. Is anyone really going to do that to the model once finished. It seems model companies are starting to blur the lines between model kits and action toys.

I'll get one. It looks fine too me. Maybe two.
Meh... he could have done more to it. Weathering, PE, aftermarket items, etc... Overall, it looks good.
On thinking about it, is this the one somone posted a video of a few weeks back showing the engine panels being fited and removed.
Price will be the determining factor for me.
Not covered in rivets like the Eduard releases, but does include a seated pilot, and that has me interested.
I just saw it online and it looks like a nice kit. May have to pick this one up!
I've seen the pics and am intrigued. I'll probably pick one up just to see how it stacks up to the Eduard -109. I like the inclusion of the engine.
I recently built their 1/48 "Tony" and found it to be simple-yet-detailed, easy to build and stress-free. I would imagine their -109 would be of the same vein.

No, it's a new one. I've seen pictures of it on other sites. It looks really good. It includes an engine.
Is it a re-box of an older kit or brand?
1/48. Sorry Bish.
Not heard anything about it. What scale is it?
I was wondering if anyone is planning on getting the new 109 from Tamiya. It has some unique enginering features.
