I'll be in Sydney for New Years, and then Shanghai. Any recomendations for shops to visit? Thanks for any replies.

I don't think you can go past HobbyCo in the Queen Victoria Building in Sydney. Shanghai ? No idea ! But I would love to turn up with a big, empty suitcase !

I know you are an aircraft guy, but some friends of mine designed the China Maritime Museum in Shanghai and I hear good things about it.

They probably have a pretty good gift store.

 Modeling is an excuse to buy books.

I went to HobbyCo in the Queen Victoria Building when I was down there last year at this time.  Take a big suitcase, large wallet and lots of time! It was amazing!!! I think I ended up bringing 4 or 5 kits back to the States with me.

On the Bench:  Lots of unfinished projects!  Smile
