Yup;

 I was sitting on the sofa watching the rain come down and looked up after two chapters .Lo and Behold , It was Snowing  ! I don;t mean little spritzy stuff either . These were full sized flakes , some got together as they fell and were blobs of the white stuff .

 I never thought I would my and my landladies KIA Souls would ever look like snow sculptures ! This mornings as Texas climbs out from under the snow I only have one thing to say .

 I moved from Buffalo N.Y. Years ago to Little Rock , Ar . to escape this stuff .Then the " Golden State ( Burned ) Now in Texas at 74 , I gotta shovel the sidewalk ? Preposterous ! I say !

 But all the snowmen in my neighborhood made it all worthwhile .Those children were truly having a ball !

They're calling for 4.3 in Reading Pa tonight and tomorrow morning which is just a hoot and a holler north of me. Good thing is we just moved to a cottage in a Retirement Village and don't have to shovel any more snow or mow any grass. We'll just sit in the kitchen and watch them shovel all the snow away from the street, driveway, and clear right up to the front door.

I keep hitting "escape", but I'm still here.

  I was thinking about moving to Texas to get away from the snow someone told me they didn't get snow in the San Antonio area they lied.

We've had a couple "dustings" up here in Michigan...those melted away the same day though. We just got a first snow today...a whole 2"...by the forecast, looks like it'll stay a while, with more piling on over the next couple days. Spent a large portion of my day on the big tractor at my airport, clearing the runway and taxiways.

That's a 16' rotating "broom" down in front...8 passes to clean the runway (close enough to call a mile long)...another 4 passes on each taxiway (on either side of the runway), not to mention all the ramps and taxiways, around the hangers, etc...at a warp speed of 4.5 miles an hour.....LONG day!

I grew up in Robstown, TX (near Corpus Christi) and I remember it snowing there in 1958 and 1962. It was gone by noon, but still.

Can look to more of the same for awhile.  We have a big high camped over us in Oregon, pushing all the storm fronts up into northern Canada and down the east side of the Rockies. Saying it is going to be that way for the coming week.

Can't wait for it to leave and get rid of the cold air mass and get back to "normal" web foot and moss weather.

I lived in Ballarat (Australia) in my younger years, the year I was living in Indian (US) whilst my father study (In the US) they had snow for several weeks! It didnt matter that I missed it at back home in the Australia as we had a blizzard in the area of Indian. From memory I was so very excited as a child.

But as an adult, not so much.
