That is another option. I often wonder if they have a reaction to clear coat to seal it in.
I have used "Dry transfer's " quite a bit and never had a problem sealing them with Gloss or Dull coat.
EXCEPTION : Gold colored dry transfers will "run" if you Gloss /Dull coat them with a Laquer based clear coat. Not a problem , IF you are going for a oxidised/ heavily weathered look. ( Like something has been in the weather for 50 years or so. )
