Squadron does a vac replacement, though I'm not sure how readily available it may be. They (of course) are showing it as 'In Stock Soon'...so you may have to hunt for it.

I have been working on a 1/48 revell B29 and lost the upper canopy. I ordered a replacement but it didn't ship by the 13th so does anyone have any ideas on how to get a replacement canopy?

I just need to add engines, canopy, and decals now. although it may take me a while since I just broke my collarbone and will be in a sling for about 2-3 weeks.

Ouch! Too bad about your collarbone.

I recently built that model and there are issues regarding how the engines are attached to the nacelles. Also, the canopy is a different curvature than the fuselage making attachment difficult. Go here to see how I solved both issues.
