I think the ultimate UK hobby shop is at Telford - but they are only open two days a year, in November! Big Smile

The vendor's area at the IPMS UK Nationals at Telford blew my mind.  It was too much to take in all at once. I had to cut out early on the second day and lie down in the hotel room and watch "Dr. Who".

Never mind the hobby shops, go to the wonderful museums instead!

If you find yourself in Nottingham, a visit to Warhammer World would be well worth it.

If your going to be in London, then you might want to pop into the Hannants branch in Colindale. Can't point you to any cant's miss models shops, in east Anglia they are a bit thin on the ground. But if your any where near Norwich, there is a toy shop called langleys which used to have a good selection, though its been a few years since i have been in.

I am a Norfolk man and i glory in being so

Can't-Miss model stores in the UK

Hi all,

I'll be taking a trip to the UK this summer. Will be in London some, but also all over Britain and Scotland. Are there any can't miss model stores in the UK that I should make sure I stop in to? I mostly model sci-fi, Industrial Vehicles, and robot type things. I also dabble in fantasy dioramas and figures. Thanks for any advice in advance!
