I just now looked up Vintage Flyer Decals. Good stuff. I have an old Heller 1/72 scale Lockheed L-749 Constellation in my stash. It should look pretty good in vintage Eastern livery. Thanks, GMorrison.

OK. In the stash: Way too much to build in one lifetime...

I think I'll look up "Vintage Flyer Decals."

I'll have to keep them in mind if I need any for older subjects.

Nice to see overly honest vendors these days.  Not much of that anymore.

I enjoy reading about positive customer service experiences in the hobby.

Thanks for sharing/posting, Bill.

GM

I think it's very nice too, some folks just have class, don't they? I wish them well in their business.

I just received my order of 1/72 DC-4 decals from Vintage Flyer Decals. When I opened the envelope there were quite a few sheets of decals, including some extras.

Inside was a note explaining that when the vendor is less than pleased with the printing of any of the decals, they reprint them and include both. It was easy to tell which were the replacements by the layout on the sheet, but man, visually I see no difference.

I thought that was a very nice gesture.

Modeling is an excuse to buy books.
