My absolute , hands down favorite model box artist is Jack Leynnwood. His artwork induced me to buy almost every revell aircraft kit!

Hey everyone,
I've got an assignment in my art analysis class which involves comparing the works of two different artists. I thought it would be interesting to look at the works of different box art at a similar time in different places- I already know I want one of the artists to be the legendary Roy Cross.
My question: Do you know of any prolific box artists in Japan who were active at the same time as Cross? Any suggestions would be hugely appreciated.
Thanks,
TheWaggishAmerican
