Hi all, Penncon is coming up this Saturday in Carlisle, Pa. at the Army Museum. Looking forward to seeing old friends and making some new ones. I'll be wearing my usual tan "Commemorative Air Force" cap. Look me up and we can chew the fat for a while. They tell me I'm very good at bending an ear.

I'm entering 2 WII tanks, 1 Kuwait era M901A1 ITV and 1 WWII plane. Not planning to win anything but hoping to talk to lots of people and get criticism on my builds so I don't make the same mistakes again. Plus, checking out all the models at the show for ideas.

Come on out. The museum is great to check out too, both inside and out. The food is good too.

Sounds like fun Jim.  If I lived in the area, I’d definitely swing by to say howdy.

No problem Tojo. The main thing is that you stay safe. We'll meet up again at another show sometime. Planning on going to Maraudercon in November. Is that too far?

Just back from Penncon. Had a great time. There were a lot of fantastic builds. Judges had a tough time picking award winners. Will post pics tomorrow after I get them downloaded from my wife's phone.

Hit the raffle for 4 wins.

1 - Minicraft 1/144 Endeavor with external tanks and boosters.

2 - Testors 1/48 P51D.

3 - Testors 1/48 P47 Thunderbolt.

4 - Lindberg 1/240 S S Gato Fleet Submarine.

As "Gomer Pyle" used to say "Surprise, Surprise, Surprise." Also got 3 awards.

1 - Bronze - Revell M901A1 ITV

2 - Bronze - ICM Russian IT-28 Bridgelayer

3 - Bronze - Tamiya M5A1

Will post pics of those tomorrow also. Right now I think that I'm going to hit the sheets. Long day.
