Primer Mistake.
Posted by LoneWolf13 on Tuesday, November 13, 2018 8:41 AM

I made a mistake when i applyed the primer and theres clumps of spray paint built up on the wing of the model. Should i use sandpaper to sand it down?

Which primer did you use?

I suggest you strip it. Sanding will cause loss of detail, and unless you are really careful, scratches.

I use Easy Off oven cleaner. I don't feel too guilty flushing it down the sink. Or, pour into a bag of used coffee grounds.

Modeling is an excuse to buy books.

Welcome to the Forums! Glad to have you with us.

Acrylic can also be removed with Windex.
