WOW Stikpusher, that is a lot of modeling there, with some wonderful results....

Is this thread for everyone to show thier accomplishments, or just you? I do not want to steal your thread, unless you tell me it is a group posting.

2018 was a great year for you.

Thanks!

Mopar, it was fun to do brush painting again, but either paint formulas have changed, or my hand brushing skills for this sort of thing have deteriorated. I don’t remember it being so challenging when  did it all the time back then... and I sure don’t plan to go back to tube glues... LOL! But I’ll do my hand brushing...

Gamera, that P-40 was really a fun build. I learned a lot about this fighter group doing research for the build. You should try one of those AMT P-40s yourself.

Nice lot!  I have really been thinking about making at least one aircraft the old-fashioned way. I’m talking tube glue and brush paint!

Thank you guys,

Templar and PJ, I hear ya about time and not being able to get anything done. Life happens and this Hobby has to take a back seat sometimes...

Timmy, those AMT P-40s are nice enough kits. A little help & extra effort and they can really look good.

Gary, Scott, and Greg, it was nice to get six in last year. It’s been awhile.

6 is a lot, and it looks like you did each of them justice.

Like many others, apparently, 2018 was a year of nothing quite finished for me, so good for you.

Great looking bunch stick. I’ve been wanting to do the same but time is a premium lately.

All great looks,I'm envious as I have done nothing modeling wise in '18'.

Yeah, I know this is a few weeks past the New Years. But I was holding off on taking some final photos and I’ve been more busy building lately. So here are my completions of 2018.

Academy clone of the old Fujimi Mirage IIIIR. It says 1/48, but is actually 1/50. I added cockpit and engine detail, and a Doppler radar bulge to change this to a Mirage III RD

Monogram 1/48 Hurricane II B built the old fashioned way and hand brush painted as a ceiling hangar for my great nephew.

Tamiya 1/35 T-55, built for AMPS chapter GB for IPMS Nationals. Backdated to earlier model

AMT 1/48 P-40F

Tamiya 1/35 Leopard 1A4, missing features on kit added to improve accuracy

Dragon 1/72 Challenger 2 w/dozer blade MBT, built for AMPS 1/72 GB.

I did double last year’s completion output from 3 to 6. But I completed zero rollovers from previous years . All were new starts from 2018. This year I aim to finish up more rollovers, and hopefully finish more than 6 while doing so....

Thanks for looking.
