Hi;

 I use the Vallejo Matte Varnish on my wood yacht models .I never touch the surfaces then for at least 48 to 72 hours after letting the surface dry in a room at 72 degrees .

My 2 cents. I use mostly Vallejo Model Air paints and always wait at least 24 hours before applying the second coat whether it's the paints or the varnishes. That's why I usually work on at least 2 or 3 builds at a time so I can keep working while the paint cures. Slow but sure gets the job done (without fingerprints).

Hope that this helps.

I keep hitting "escape", but I'm still here.

Using Vallejo acrylic Matte Varnish.  How long should I let it dry before putting on second coat
