Anyone in Canada ever order from DragonUSA?

I've put this question in ticket form to DragonUSA, but no reply from them.  Judging by what you have wrote, and the $9.99 shipping fee for a single item in my cart, I figure that cost is just enough to cover the parcel's travel to the border.  Then FedEx is responsible to get it to your doorstep, at which point they ask the recipient to bend over ...

While never having ordered from Dragon Model USA I can relay many examples from other companies that shipped via FedEx. Every single time a parcel was shipped to me from the US via FedEx (or UPS for that matter) I was nailed with taxes and a brokerage fee. It easily added an extra $30 on average to my costs. This has been 100% of the time with couriers as opposed to USPS. The courier companies collect the taxes and ridiculous brokerage fee and then pay out the Feds. With USPS the CRA collects directly from you. I have only been dinged on an average of 1 time in 50 via USPS as opposed to every time via courier. YMMV though.
