                        Author (including for FSM),  historian, modeler, and curator at the Pacific Air Museum has passed away.   I knew Burl.  A gem of a gentleman.  He will be missed.  Aloha

                        Not long since I built my 1/32 SPAD XIII using the etch 'wing pockets' he designed for Tom's Modelworks. Never had the pleasure to meet the gentleman, but his expertise obviously extended into a great many area.

                        Thoughts and prayers for his friends and loved ones.
