Whit regards too this post? what are the best dimensions to post a pictue in?

secondly, is it possible to post links from Imgur, instead of Flicr? and if so, which link do i have to choose?

My opinion, depends on how much detail you want viewers to be able to see. Far as I know, the forum software resizes all images to 500 pixels wide (you'll note your test image has been reduced from 600 px wide to 500 px wide). So it doesn't matter if the image is 'too big'.  Depending on your image host, the viewer may be able to click on the image to see it as big as you want to allow. Your post here allows for that.

Every now and then somebody posts a pic that is only 100-150 pixels wide, and those are hard to see.

I can't address your Imgur questions, sorry.

Posting big pictures is helpful. I sometimes go to the host source to grab an image I see on the forum, for reference, and big is good for details.

I also get to look at all of your vacation shots too!Devil
