Oho:

Don't bet on it ! I went to my Local H.L and they were having a sale on slow moving kits .I bought one .The Revell 1959 Ford Skyliner ( Hardtop Convertible ) .Guess what? all the plastic parts for the top mechanism was missing.

Thank goodness I know how to extrapolate instruction drawings into actual plans for parts! I made new ones out of brass . When I told the manager about it he did this .he returned my money and gave me 50% off another When we opened it it was missing tires and wheels! He checked one more and it was missing the windows !

He said and I quote ."Looks like someone is stealing the parts to build one without buying it ". A box in back was missing the drive train parts !  The only thing they had left to get was Chrome parts and the Body and associated parts > All were wrapped and returned to the warehouse !

He gave me a 1963 Buick Riviera Kit  for my trouble and told me to keep the kits I had.

Between the two Kits. I have the car almost done ..Thank Goodness in my parts Bin I had the rest of the missing parts and others that were compatible !

There is another possible explanation for the missing parts.  A customer may have returned it to the retail store after losing (or pilfering) those parts, and the store could have rewrapped it with shrink-wrap and returned it to the shelf without ever checking the contents.  Most stores have a shrink-wrap machine in the back room, and when used, you can't tell the difference from the original factory shrink wrap.  I know, I used to work for one of those retailers (briefly) and was not happy to observe this practice.

So it's quite possible that Revell was not at fault.

I highly doubt Hobby Lobby practices this. I would take it back to the store for a exchange.

 That sucks Toshi.

I'm leaning to the missing parts being a Hobbico issue. Over on the RC sites, there are posts about some of the last RC kits by Great Planes also missing parts or parts that are so poorly made they couldn't be used.  Like Revell, nothing could be done because there are no spare parts for the vendors to send as replacements.

On the brite side, you have spares to fix any of your other B-25s in case one gets broken.

Or Ezra can make a spaceship or something odly creative.  I did that with my kids.

Photograph the kit and try Revell of Germany. They're still in business.

ROG says they don’t deal with the continental US.  Thanks for the idea.

Hiya Toshi.  I looked at the photos in your first post in your build thread and saw that there are two clear sprues and no sprue with the props and other parts you are missing.  Obviously the Quality Control people working that day had their attentions elsewhere.  As it's a Revell kit and because of Hobbico's bankruptcy, your efforts to get spare parts would be futile.  I saw the kit was purchased at Hobby Lobby.  Any chance that you might return it to them, explain the problem and get an exchange from them?  Just a thought.

Hello Mr. murph, thank you for having Eagle Eyes.  I noticed that as you mentioned that their were no props as well as the machine gun shroud for rear of the aircraft.  The braces for the wings?  gone!  Wow!  Well, thank you for your very important information.

Hi, Toshi. Did the kit cost you much? If not, can you buy another? Pretty danged mean of the company to state that yopu can't get spare parts, and that the phone number is bogus. Hope you come oput well in the end.

The kit was a gift.  I’m not going to bother with this project.  It’s on to the next kit.  A Trumpeter 1/32 TBF-IC Avenger.  This is a big one.  Thank you very much Devil Dawg.

To my fellow forum members,

For the first time in my life, I’m missing some very key parts.  No engine, no propellers, bomb bay front bulkhead, bomb bay top, bomb bay rear bulkhead.  There are also some very small misc. items.  This is very shocking.  I went to their web site and found a small sentence in that spare parts will be unavailable.  The phone number was bogus.

i did my best in trying to contact them, i could not get through.  So I placed the fuselage into it‘s box and said good bye!
