Anyone remember “Duel” from the early 70’s? Great flick directed by Steven Spielberg.

I really miss a lot of the old '70s-80s cheesy sci fi films.  They made for great MST3K shows.  I think of movies like Logan's Run.  They're cringe-worthy today, but they were fun to a kid growing up.

The Last Chase. Starred Lee Majors as a fugitive race car driver and Burgess Meredith as an aging Air Force pilot who chased Majors' race car with a black painted F-86. Not a bad movie for television. A fun watch actually.

OK. In the stash: Way too much to build in one lifetime...

Never saw that one.  Reminds me of "death race" a disabled p40 that can taxi but cant take off getting chased by a German tank in north Africa.

Yeah, that was a made-for-TV movie, from the golden days of made-for-TV movies.  Lloyd Bridges played the panzer commander, if I remember correctly.

I beleive that Kermit Weeks (of Fantasy of flight) owns the TP-40N that was used in that movie. He describes it in one of his "Kermie Cams".

GAF

Kinda reminds me of "The Last Chase".

Bingo!!  That’s it!  Google confirms it.  Guess it wasn’t an A-7.  Lookslike it was an F-86, though the poster says it was a Phantom.  Memory is a funny thing.

When I was a kid I remember a recurring movie from the early days of HBO. It seemed to be on every time I flipped on the TV. Now it’s either an obscure movie or a child’s fever dream but I seem to remember the film as a dystopian chase movie where the main character was pursued by a pilot flying a black A-7.  Does this ring any bells?  I’ve Googled the crap out of this to no avail.  I’m afraid I won’t get any sleep until I sort this outIndifferent!
