Question for the Canadians
Posted by Alcore on Thursday, June 27, 2019 12:33 PM

Question goes out to my local Canadinas. I am just getting back into Modeling and have started up my first project in about 20 years. I have no where local to go, so I am just wondering if anyone has any good websites for me to order kits and supplies from. Currently doing Cars, but will move into other stuff as well when I get back into the groove. I ordered from Great Hobbies for everything I have now but I am sure people have better knowledge of places for me to look. Thank you in advance!

My go to shops are Spruebrothers, Hobbylink and Freetimehobbes. If you want Canadian, there is westcoasthobby.com althought I have never ordered from them.

Greetings from Vancouver.

Hobby Sense in Winnipeg:

https://hobbysense.ca/

It's my "local" store (about a half hour drive). He has an amazing inventory and will happily order anything you may need. Great selection of kits and supplies.

Awsome thanks all, couple there I didn't know about. I am up in Fort Mac so a little out of the way. Also I have used Great Hobbies out of Edmonton, but they have multiple locations. Only dealt with them via Email but they seemed good. I will check out these other locations!

I recall this same question from a few months ago.  If you find the thread, there may be more information.  Here are some places I've ordered from.

hamiltonhobbyspecialties.com/

https://hobbywholesale.com/

https://www.pmhobbycraft.ca/

https://www.pmhobbycraft.ca/

I've not ordered from here.

https://www.elmcityhobbies.com/shop/

This place has an amazing shop, and will ship to you, but they don't have an online inventory.

All the places I've ordered from have been great to do business with.

I build 1/48 scale WW2 fighters.

Have fun.
