Try their transparent orange, or Tamiya transparent orange.

Those are the best for turn signals and hazard lights.

Vallejo Model Air paint shade "correction" of sorts...

So I came across a step in building the Revell 1:24 '68 VW Beetle I am building just to take a break from my normal WWII stuff for my besties' 10 y/o's room, as he's a huge VW fan, an the marker lights on the front fender call for the common "Turn Signal Amber".

Before I ran out yet again to the hobby store, I saw that I had Vallejo's 71.082 Fluorescent Red an thought I'd make due with it, as this was just a quick gift an wouldn't matter that much.  Turns out, that this "Fluorescent Red" is actually very much amber an NOT red much at all.  In fact, looking at some older builds, it's pretty much the same as Turn Signal Amber.

Anyone else?  Perhaps I have a different colour, or that mine eyesight is just ***, who knows.  lol

Anyway, thought I'd put it out there that Vallejo's fluorescent red is closer to an amber/orange than red itself.  My $.02,
