Real G

Tempestjohnny, I have serious display shelf envy!

I custom built the cabinet to fit the glass shelves that I bought from a store going out of business

Here’s my small collection. A lot of these were built a a few years break so they aren’t award winners or anything. For those wondering why some tanks have open hatches without figures, I’m working on painting them right now.

The top 2 shelves are 48th. Bottom 2 are 72nd.

The F-82 is the old 72nd Monogram kit done as a whiffer.

Nice!  Glass shelves look great.  What a collection!   What scale?  Particularly the f82.  I have a 1/48 kit but dont care for the markings.

Thanks,

John

Mach71, you have a veritable arsenal full of Federation phasers!

I don't have any videos of my dust collection, but here are a few photos taken when the glass shelves were relatively clean.

I used to collect 1/6 scale military figures, as well as some from movie properties, but they started getting expensive so I had to stop.

Here's my most Politically Incorrect figure in my collection.

Some might raise serious questions about why a grown man would have a Hitler doll in his house, but it was all for fun.  I stumbled across a whole pallet of these in a Tokyo hobby shop and thought it was in such hysterically bad taste that I bought one.  The vacuum was a separate accessory, added to "clean up the Reich".

Very interesting collection John, and a great idea for a thread. Of the many outstanding builds my personal favorite is the S2F to Cal Fire conversion. Seeing the model again reminds me of how much I enjoyed following the WIP.

Very nice builds!

I've never been able to get figures to look good! Yours are great.

I don't have a video, but I can post some photos.

Most of the Star Trek props were built from kits or from scratch.

Nice wide ranging collection!

I had the same thought. It truly is.

That was a good idea, John. Haven't seen that done in my years here. Nice work! Yes

Nice wide ranging collection!  Was that Drake with his smartgun at the beginning?  Oh wait, is it a dude with a Stinger launcher?

Hey, John -

Great video of your work, the Brewster and the Constellation, (I think it was called an EC121 maybe?) are real standouts. Thanks for the show, I liked it.

This may take a little more work for folks but I thought this would be really cool to see.  Here's my completed builds in a 'quick' video.  I'd love to see yours.
