Oh, That's Purty!

 Is that a large beaked Beaufighter Chicken Hawk? Or possibly a Fledgling Lancaster? LOL.LOL. looks good though

That is obviously the Western Large Beaked Beaufighter Chicken Hawk...as evidenced by the desert colors in its plumage. Big Smile

Traditional versus Creative Building - - My Take on This
Posted by Tanker - Builder on Sunday, September 22, 2019 9:17 AM

Hi;

     There was a post on this subject. I answered the poster, but I would like to really like to get a well rounded discussion going on this very subject.

 Now, what do we as modelers Really consider traditional? See, this part of the equation will cover a lot of ground.

    For instance. When I was just a tad I did some models out of wood and found materials at home. They were Submarines. I saw eight of them in a big dowel and sawed this dowel down to eight one foot pieces and carved away.

      Now this speaks to the creative question. What do we as humans see when we look at someone's work? I know I changed my mind about Salvadore Dali after I actually saw some of his actual work.

      See, this is a very deep subject from both angles. Some folks consider my Submarines as a real expression of creativity. Others would just wonder if the deck casings and limber holes were correct.

 So what's your thoughts? Is building at the spur of the moment and creating a Bubble Topped M-48-A-1  creative or trash?  Don't laugh, I saw one ( I built it.) And it went in the Sci-Fi category, gained some laughs, smiles and a plaque.  I got dinged for Some little thing, but that was alright. I was just glad folks appreciated my creativity. See what I mean?  I'm waiting for your replies with Bated Breath.

     I see a lot of space here for comments here. Remember I build many ships and they are detailed right down to the Binnacles and Engine telegraphs in the wheelhouses. Is that traditional or creative ? That would be the question, now wouldn't it?

 Posting Photos is my Achilles Heel so don't kick me when I am down, but, Remember now,  Not all of us have the same skills or means to do things . You know how that is. Life's a beach and then  sometimes you get sand in your suit, Right ?   T.B.
