Check out Brookhurst hobbies in garden grove.  Not too far from Long Beach and totally worth the drive.

Brookhurst is probably the biggest and largest in the general Long Beach area. Military Hobbies in Orange is good too. There is also a hobby shop in San Pedro (I forget the name at the moment) not too far from USS Iowa that is decent. Lots of old secondhand kits available at that one.

U is for URANIUM... BOMBS!
