Floquil is a discontinued brand. It’s been gone for several years now. But you can still find some of their products on Amazon.

I don't think the brand is important. I find I need a hair 0. I find real hair brushes work for lacquer, enamel and acrylic, so see no need for synthetic brushes. Also I find a 1/4 inch brush handier than a 1/2 inch brush. I have no idea what a silver fox synthetic brush- seems like an oxymoron.

in the book "the basics of scale modeling" (2005), the author recommend getting 5 brushes. (p.37)
model master no. 0 synthetic
model master 1/2 " flat black sable
Floquil no. 3 round pure sable
Floquil 1/4" flat camel hair and flat silver fox synthetic
I am wondering if these brushes are still available somewhere or if there are better suggestions/options from you guys.
Thank you!
