I remember when a couiple pilots in our off had to find out if keeping the turkey feathers on our F-15s was worth the time and effort it cost to maintain them.  It took weeks to get the information, but in the end they decided that the minor increase in drag caused by the exposed engines was worth dropping the fathers.  They sent the information and recommendation to PACAF HQ. and, I'm assuming that it was combined with any other squadrons in the states and Europe and one day the feathers disappeared.

That kit wea part of a series of kits put out in tje early to mid 80s.  They sometimes included P.E. parts and metal landing gear.  I had several of them, once.

Now I repeat my original question.  Where can I find a set of engines for the Hasegawa kit?

I'm getting ready to start building for next year's Modelpalooza.  My first project will be a F-15A from my old squadron, the 5th Fighter Interceptor Sq.  I'll be using the Hasegawa kit.

I might even make it a triple with a F-106 and a T-33.

Come to think of it, is a 106 cockpit set still available?
