Hi Don;

 I think your best bet would be Spring Creek Model Trains in Deshler, Nebraska. Dave and Deb will be more than helpful. They are a vendor at two of our yearly Train Shows and that's where I get most of the stuff like that ! T.B.

Model railways (railroads) suppliers are a treasure trove when it comes to things like scale bolts etc. Always worth a look.

Found and ordered the bolts from Tichy.  Thanks again.

Don,

When you asked this back in 2012, you were directed to Grandt Line bolt heads.  Now Grandt Line is out of business and the new go-to is Tichy-Train.  They should have just what you need.

Rick

Thanks, Rick.  I will give them a try.

Real G

I have a set of hex punch and dies.  I’ll check the sizes when I get home.  Try your Google-Fu for “hex punch and die set”.

If you just need a few and my set has the right size, I can knock out a bunch for you.  Just not 100s ‘kay?

Thanks.  I need eleven more, but that will be a last resort.  I am still trying to get duplicates of the ones I have been using.

I need some dummy plastic bolts for a project. I had a bunch, with .050 and .075 heads.  I have enough of the .075s, but not enough .050 ones to finish the project.  I went looking with google and could not find anything.  I got the ones I had from the Model Railroad section of my hobby shop- they have no more.  I tried Walthers, which I used to believe had scratch-building supplies of all kinds, but their search function yielded zilch.

Anyone know any place to buy those things these days?
