FS colors were not introduced until many years later after the Blues had switched to jets. Anything flown by them that was propellor driven between WWII and Korea would have been an ANA color. Or potentially a custom non ANA standard color.

Blue Angels SNJ Yellow FS number?
Posted by DMackLewis on Friday, November 22, 2019 9:46 PM

The SNJ the Blue Angels used as a Zero in the early days seems to have been painted Orange Yellow FS33538/ANA614. Is that correct? I have seen statements that at some later date the SNJ (not the Bearcat) yellow was changed to a brighter color. Anybody have knowledge about this, e.g. documentation, FS #?
