Hi!

That's excellent. When I lived on my smaller HouseBoat ( A 40 Foot " River Queen") I found a wooden one. A neighbor made a removeable larger top that dropped over the original and I worked on it for years.

Had to be able to break it all down to get underway. We cruised the San Joaquin/Sacramento river Delta a lot! I still have the top. Upside down, it makes a great tool tray when I am building.

I saw a 6 foot cabinet on the curb of a house on our block with a "take free" sign on it.  It did not have a top, but looked great.  I already had a countertop I had found, that I intended to make a drawer set for.  Grabbed that cabinet, and the top fit on it fine.  I now have a machine tool bench six feet by 20 inches, laminate top, six drawers on each side, with double door section in middle.  Love it, have my lathe, sander, and drill  press on it, with big vise on end.

Years ago I found a two piston Devilbis compressor at the dump.

Quite a few dollars later I had my first airbrush, a Pasche from Michael's @ 40% off.

Thing was, the compressor didn't have a tank and ran like a motorcyle without a muffler.

Modeling is an excuse to buy books.

That's how I got my spray booth. While driving, saw a discarded kitchen cabinet laying by the side of the road.

It sits in the corner with a heater vent that I put in the window when in use.

Rescued this collapsible tray, thought I could sit with others in the house for the early stage of the build before disappearing to the man cave.     " alt="" />
