thanks. i cannot believe they wouldnt have an exact color in the bottle ! i spray the big superstructure parts, then brush the small deck details and such. im sure im not the only one , and to have to go through all that effort is a bit offputting

Just checked my Hobby Color paint converter App,and it says there are no direct equivalent,so you may have to mix something.You should download their App or something similar,they are helpful.

Tamiya's XF-53 is the acrylic equivalent of the AS-7 lacquer in the rattle can. Also "neutral gray", but some degree of mixing may be necessary for a perfect match in sheen and tone.

im building the uss tacoma , i have the major pieces sprayed in neutral grey which i use for my modern US naval , but touching up and painting smaller pieces, ove tried to match every jar of grey tamiya makes and it is always off. any suggestions?
