Is there any interest in a mecha group build? Could include any robots from Droids to Mobile suits, so everyone can get involved. I was thinking it would be cool to do a "dirty robot" build and have it focus on weathering since mecha kits always look great with heavy weathering, especially Star Wars ones. I'm not sure if this is the right forum to post this.

Gives us some room to have fun. Who wouldn't want to see C3P0 spinning round a pole with dollars being thrown at him? Have to keep all his plating on, no wires showing so it's PG.

I haven't done a build in quite a while, this one looks promising. After I finish my big Seaquest D.S.V. project.
This is my big chance to break out and really lay on some heavy weathering on a mech, something I have been meaning to do.
BTW I still like the stripper C3PO. Motorize him so he goes round the pole while the tassle on his restraining bolt spins wildly.
That's 4 of us. if we can get 10 people interested I'll put it forward. Maybe even pony up a few quid for an Amazon gift card for the most creative use of the theme. Then it's not about execution skill but who can have the most fun and bend the rules the most.
